I won't mention my opinions yet as prices ain't up yet (i kno some are funny about that) But to say im excited is an understatement! Think Garcia vs salido could be a foty year candidate, salido is a warrior!!! His 2 fights with juan ma showed what a fighter he is, and how he ducks nothing. To go into juan ma back garden and do what he did to him, i wander if garcia will learn lessons from how juan ma boxed salido?? Golovkin has the biggest hype around any fighter at present and even at his age is a total unknown quality! Although i must admit im convinced he is more than a match for anyone, this will be a blow out in 3 hopefully lead to a fight that will answer some questions (this surely set up for an exciting GGG tko) Lastly must admit to not knowing much about either but have seen martinez couple of times and is always in watchable fights due to his come forward pressure style... Really excited suprised by one price majorly although thats only on betfair at mom... Opinions???

Don't know what's going on with the markets for Garcia-Salido, staying Whoops, till they appear

"GGG's" insane hype has created a comical odds.  This guy is not the next big thing albeit he is a B+ type fighter.  Good pop in both hands and decent boxing ability but he isn't the beast the promoters paid advertising is suggesting.  Too easy to hit and his chin is still an unknown.  He has literally fought nobody at the pro level and he is 30 years old.  Read somewhere after having a tough duel with Kassim Ouma (who was shot and I think has retired now) he said Ouma hit hard.  If this comment is true I really wonder what his durability is like.

Rosado is a solid, experienced B level fighter who is still in his physical prime and is very hungry.  imo a very live body.  His record looks mediocre only because he has never had the pampered promotional deal as a chosen fighter and has been matched tough his entire career.  I honestly think his desire and skill level will be enough to see the fight go into the deeper rounds (so I like the over 6.5/7.5 rounds prop).  Maybe Golovkin's power will be too much but the fact is Rosado has only been stopped once in his career when he took a shot at the hard hitting Angulo when is probably wasn't ready for the step up.  Have to check the video but even though he did get dropped a couple times it is worth noting, if I remember correctly, he was willing to continue at the point the ref called the stoppage.  Point being he has a warrior like spirit and won't quit at the first sign of trouble.

Anyways I think the line is crazy and expect this to be somewhat competitive.  Almost 20-1 for Rosado seems a little nuts, I cannot imagine he wins this fight 95% of the time.

I think salido 15-8 is way to big, and campillo for mje is arguably best light weight in the world at 2-1 is huge also so ive had a double and considering big singles also... campillo has been robbed arguably 3 times surely can't rob him again? is garcia the real deal? He'll have to be to beat salido, this is a massive step up.

Rosado is a hands down merchant with little bang and is a light middle, that is the reason for the short odds. He better have his hands up tonight

Campillo and salido prices seem very very generous to me. Am backing Salido.

Think Burgos beats rocky aswell but its a 50/50 fight so the odds make no appeal.

just a small play on Salido inside the distance for me.

Golovkin doesn't look very good to me. Got heavy hands but very upright and stiff when infront the opposition, gets tagged a lot from the footage i've seen. Can't believe the hype around him as Horangi points out, hoping it carries on because I'd fancy our lads like Macklin or Murray to do him. Not sure Rosado's the man to get him turned over but throwing him in a trixie for buttons with the Garcia stoppage and Zab Judah.

I like what Salido's about but his style's made for Mikey. He loves to come forward, isn't a massive banger and can get dropped. Think Garcia takes the title in sensational style tonight. The Juan Ma result doesn't fo loads for me, Lopez was top of my to get list for years and was alwasy gonna come un-stuck at some point with his style and vulnerability. Garcia's much more considered and solid approach should do the job there tonight.

I'm in the minority when it comes to GGG. I think macklin plays right into his hands and I cant have Murray at all. I think barker's reaction in the SKY studio after the Proska beatdown said it all about GGG at worst the second best Middle in the world for me, I really rate him,not that tonight will prove anything but nobody wants him

Kovalev to beat Campillo/Kovalev ko/tko the bets of the night for me.  Think he will have far too much for Campillo and should win comfortably.  Only way I see Campillo getting the nod is by outboxing him at range all night - even then his style doesn't really do it for the judges as seen previously.  Reckon he will get tagged at some point, at which Kovalev has shown he is good enough to go in and finish the job.  Changing of the guard type thing imo.  GGG will surely win by ko/tko, but reckon he could be taken towards the latter end of the fight.  Salido definitely a live underdog, but not pulling the trigger myself.  Sticking to the Kovalev bets only.  GL.

They used to be mate, I know Sk ybet Stan Hills Fred do. Yeah Salido played into his hands great counter puncher and can bang. I would like a proper drug test on Salido afterwards seeing as he has tested before

Just checked the rules mate, ko in the event of a clash of heads Grin

What's the point mate? You've seen this week that the advanced testing for cycling didn't have EPO tracing equipment till 6 years after Armstrong was using it. Most of these fighters are on stuff that is light years ahead of boxing's laughable system. If my life depended on prediciting whether Garcia was using or not I'd go with yes.

In the unlikely you do get caught, it's a 6 month ban max, majority of your peers are using and you can more than likely keep your world title if you do get nicked. You'd be nuts not to be using some sort of illegal substance.

BrilliAnt from duke and sj on Garcia.

Ur evaluation of the fight was perfect duke. That was class fair play.

Never thought salido would get outfoxed and outboxed like that. Very patient fighter Garcia. Surly enters p4p top 10 IMO after this awsome performace.

Well done only to the brave on his.

But Garcia favouritism jusitfied. I wasn't so sure.

How on earth did u predict that.

I thought salido would have the style to do him. Older, more experinced, rougher, tougher and similar styles.

Was gona put a good whack on salido but never  cus I read ur opinions in time. Very well done duke, sj and only the brave and all those who nailed it
