Can i ask if anyone knows who was the first boxer caught as a drug cheat? First banned pro or am or just caught . I know im not a regular on forum but i would be grateful for any help or ideas . Drugs in boxing have been around along time it seem & finally cheats are getting caught. Aaron Pryor had the famous mixed bottle vs Alexis Argulleo (not tested or proven) back in nov 1982 . I know first olympic drugs cheat was a boxer (caffine) in 2004. Big gaps in timeline then plus little info on google owning to boxing disfuntional govering bodies. Thanks for any help .

I certainly remember the aron pryor incident. Amazing fight that with argullo. Shocking how he took the punch of the century in the 8th and then stopped him in 13th in relentless fashion.
They say a coloured substance was used during rounds. Exactly same coloured substance was used by holyfeild v dwight qwai. |

And yes 100% sure both got caught redhanded on tape and camera but evidence was swept under the carpet as usual
