I was also partial to Lenny sticking it to the yanks all those years with poor old Larry Merchant having to keep crawling into the ring with his lip curled after he had starched yet another of their rising stars. They just kept coming and he just kept popping em.

It was brief mate, he was delayed but it was a bit special being in his company even for half an hour or so.
I've seen it Carlos, the special investigation team that the family hired make a strong case. It's crazy the whole thing, looks like brazilian police have recieved a back hand to me. Wasn't as genuine outside the ring unfortunately was he Arturo, not a perfect guy my any stretch of the imagination. What a fcking fighter though |

Jack Dempsey was a world champion for a long time at a relatively low weight, I would have loved to see him fight must have had a fantastic technique.

Point of order there. He was a long time champ because he went a long time between bouts later in his career and he was a fair size for his time when you exclude the farm hand types who weren't really boxers.
