calzaghe and steve collins, best weight divisions in my opinion, not too "cuddly" like the heavies nor light with no punch power like the straws etc

I was also partial to Lenny sticking it to the yanks all those years with poor old Larry Merchant having to keep crawling into the ring with his lip curled after he had starched yet another of their rising stars. They just kept coming and he just kept popping em. LaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

Nobody has given me more entertainment than Arturo Gatti.

Gatti vs Ward.... I still marvel at the trilogy.

M.A Barrera would be my personal fav, had his own memorable toe to toe tussles with another class act in Morales. Clinical against Naseem Hamed.

Barrera probably second on my list. Interviewed him a few months back, absolute class act.

Duke, I always enjoyed the way that he conducted himself in and out of the ring. That must have been a memorable day chewing the fat with a modern great!!

Duke u seen that documentry about how gatti died???

Amazing evidence IMO.

If ur a fan it's a must see documentry. Watched it 3 times and couldn't get enough. Brings a tear to the eyes.

It was brief mate, he was delayed but it was a bit special being in his company even for half an hour or so.

I've seen it Carlos, the special investigation team that the family hired make a strong case. It's crazy the whole thing, looks like brazilian police have recieved a back hand to me.

Wasn't as genuine outside the ring unfortunately was he Arturo, not a perfect guy my any stretch of the imagination. What a fcking fighter though

Dean Francis, even if he threw his last fight. Only a dodgy shoulder stopped him winning a world crown.

Muhammad Ali

The masterclass we saw against Cleveland Williams

for the beating he gave Ernie Tyrell in the 'whats mah name' fight

for mullering George Foreman in Zaire

Float like a butterfly
sting like a bee
your hands can't hit
what your eyes can't see
now you see me
now you don't
George thinks he will
but I know he won't
I am the Greatest

for great fights against Joe Frazier

for fighting on against Ken Norton when his jaw was broken in round 2

and the joy of watching a heavyweight who moved like a middleweight

And of course, the Ali shuffle

Whatever you had planned for the rest of the night
when you see me shuffle, you forget it

It was a magical time Cool

Amen brother.

I'm goin Dancin with Johanson.

If that chump even dreams that he can beat me he had better wake up and apologise.

I'm gettin rid of all the bums.

Often imitated. No one even comes close.

Jack Dempsey was a world champion for a long time at a relatively low weight, I would have loved to see him fight must have had a fantastic technique.

Point of order there. He was a long time champ because he went a long time between bouts later in his career and he was a fair size for his time when you exclude the farm hand types who weren't really boxers.
