anyone betting on this,? im expecting a late stoppage for manny. he seems to have lost his hunger imo and has found god, this was always going to happen manny just seems a top bloke and i think he will lose that old nasty strek he had in him in the ring. will be interesting to see come sat
Bradley for me, 'need to do a bit more reading to find out more about the alleged rematch deal though, if there seems to be something in it I'll probably back the draw too.
Obviously it's first time at the very top table for Bradley but I think Manny's coming to the end and you can pick plenty of holes in his last half dozen or so match-ups. Bradley will be the most determined and well equipped fighter he's faced for a long time.
The politics are a worry of course after the JMM robbery. Having said that, it doesn't look like the Pac-May fight will ever happen realistically so I'm not sure there's much left for Arum to protect...maybe he won't be too upset for the torch to be passed on as long as it's kept in the Top Rank stable.
Probably have a decent bet on Bradley Pts at 8/1 with a little bit on the draw at 33s

wouldnt put you off that bet anyway.... pacs hunger has gone you can almost see it in his eyes in that face off. The rematch looks certain, i like bradley hes a tough character and nobody could question his commitment but trust me if the real manny turns up this wont go 9 rounds but i think the old manny is gone not because the skills are no longer there but for other reasons he really is the greatest

Make or break for Pac in my opinion. If he doesn't win well he might as well pack up. Nothing more to fight for. Bradley is of course the youngest, 'primest' (if that's a word) and hungryest Pac has fought for years. I hope the old Manny turns up and puts on an explosive performance with a stoppage. If this happens doors then re-open with Floyd.

Pacman found Jesus many times during his career and then started gambling, womanising etc etc.
And as for pacmans last 8 performances they havnt been bad at all, his been a bit flatfooted vs mosely and dats about it. The marquez performances have all been similar. If u take away the 1st round in the 1st fight, marquez totaly domintated just like he did the 3rd fight. As for the second bout, think it's fair to say well over 50% of ringsiders observers and those watching on the box thought marquez won comfortably.
If u look closely u can make a case for marquez 3-0 over pacman. And UNO wat it's a very very strong case.
Now looking closely and being bias towards pacman it is impossible to make a case for pacman 3-0 v marquez.
Personaly I think most of the hype surrounding PAC and mayweather fight is now dying. By the end of the year if both men do not face each other I dnt think it will happen.
There's a very good chance mayweather and PAC could face defeats in the next year especialy if either faces Martinez Which I hope at Least 1 does

Attention seeking w&nkshaft he is, it's the only reason he starts threads.
Not an easy night again for PAC, personally think one of the main problems is ironically what Roach and Co have done to virtually everyone else over the years ; pacquiaos struggling to maintain his ability after going up then coming down in weight.
He looks tired and fatigued, body looks worn to me and that's the last thing you need against a non stop all action Bradley.
Still not sure what the bet is, I've blown hot and cold over the years with Bradley, made some good dough on him and thought at times he looked like he could compete with the elite but then went off him on the basis he seemed a bit too basic and predictable. Being slightly predictable might not rule him out here though as long as he's non stop with his work. Relentless attacks could have Manny struggling to keep him off and raggered in the late to middle-late rounds.
Can see Bradley at least getting the cards, if not a bit more. Remember though if you're backing Bradley you need him to win massively and you're backing against the judges and Bob Arum not just pacquiao if it goes the distance.

I think Bradley is made for Manny. Bradley i think as the last poster said is predictable. There wont be any suprises. Can see a stopage in round 5-6. It him and Mayweather dont fight this year i think thats it. I don't think people care now and i for one am bored of the politics in general of boxing. The best should fight the best. Only sport where you dont see the best take on the best. Joke.

After watching and reading plenty of the build up I'm siding with Pac Man KO. Got a bit og 9/5 with Bodog few weeks back but wasn't sure at the time. Went on to get more on today and price has gone so will just ride out my £30 at 9/5. Should be a good'n

Seems not many are interested in this fight. Look at the depth of the markets available. Maria sharpovas just joined 1 of only 12 women to complete the slam set. History has just been made. Hope pacman wins and makes histororical battle with the money man

Pac's physique was very unimpressive during the weigh in.. possibly the first fight for him minus peds.
In contrast, bradley looked very impressive and cut to feck

Bradley looked absolutelly ripped at the weigh in, he's got himself in the best possible shape and he has a real chance here, better than the odds suggest. Just worry that he may be a little too pumped and get caught by Pacmans power. Really looking forward to it and would love Desert storm to get the victory.
Like Rigondeux on the undercard to Ko Kennedy better than anything in the main event. Rigo's got decieving power and needs a bg performance against a game but level below opponent.

as a mayweather fan, i'm hoping to wake up tomorrow morning and look on my phone to see the result being a pacquiao loss. Then, finally people will realise who's p4p king. Even, if bradley beats pacman he won't become the best straight away like he says. He needs to beat Floyd to do that. And in this generation no-one in my opinion will do that.

Bradley lacks KO power so he has to hope to get a decision from the judges which in my opinion is VERY unlikely, virtually impossible. I say this because of the Marquez fight(s) Manny didn't believe he won but the judges sided with him (if anyone is interested watch "On Freddy Roach" HBO documentary has footage after the fight as they are walking to the dressing room...Pac says "I just couldn't do it...I couldn't get going" or words to that effect...very revealing.
He is still a cash cow for Arum and Top Rank, yeah you could make a case for Bradley dethroning Pac then becoming Arum's new cash cow but I don't think a loss to Manny will derail Bradley's career. So Arum gets it both ways, sadly I feel the politics will have an influence and anyone denying that is burying their head in the sand, we forget boxing is not a sport but a business.
Would like to see the upset happen but really deep down see Manny getting a decision because Bradley is tough as nails and in fantastic condition. As cynical as it is Bradley will be looking to open up a cut Hopkins style, can he open up one badly enough to have the fight stopped...unlikely.
Bradley is definitely the hungrier fighter, as an opponent Manny may find this fight similar to the Clottey one except Bradley hopefully will throw more back, they are both tough guys with tight, high guards, Bradley will have to take more risks than Clottey did if he wants to win, of course this makes him vulnerable and if we assume Manny has not lost the power he had in his masterclass fights of yore...Hatton, De La Hoya, Margarito then Bradley will probably not have felt power of this magnitude and I imagine he will retreat into his shell a little ( a bit like Moseley did)
We'll see...I'm excited for this fight as Bradley IS still unbeaten and I think he will leave nothing in the ring, he's solid as a rock so we will probably see 12 rounds which is always pleasing when you've stayed up til stupid o'clock. I don't expect any fireworks from Manny and he will no doubt get over the line for a points decision, he has other interests now and frankly he has cleaned up at 147 with one very notable exception. Maybe a lacklustre showing can lure the jailbird into one mega payday for both...we might need Bob Arum to die for this to happen though

Ahh I'm gonna have to say Manny, I don't think it will go the distance either. Pacman will be wary of another 'Las Vegas' decision. Just my opinion though.

Think Pac wins this rather easily - mismatch of a fight imo. Bradley is feather-fisted and has lacking any real experience at 147 despite being a good boxer. Can he keep pac off for 12 rounds without getting caught evnetually? Not imo. Pac walks him down and knocks him out for my money in a one sided fight.

I have got to say Carlos you have just spoke the most sense here.
Marquez won 2/3 v Pacman in anyones book..........the greatest ever with 3defeats and 2v Marquez nope.........dont get me wrong the fella can fight but it aint the fact pacman is washed up its the fact all fights v Marquez have been close.............Marquez looked very poor one day a few year back fighting a guy who was out the ring 18month ..........................cant remember the guys name but I dont think Marquez won a round......................comments were Marquez washed up then he outboxed Pacman twice..............hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Pacman a great boxer and a great man but he only gets number 4 on my alltime greats list at this weight.

Pacman will be wary of another 'Las Vegas' decision. Just my opinion though.
I should have heeded my own advice and just stayed away. Once again though, boxing proves it works as a business but loses yet more credibility in terms of a sport.

"This feels great, but I'm not satisfied," Bradley said. "I hear the boos. People think I lost. Let's do it again. This is boxing. Nov. 10, we can do the rematch."
Pacquiao said he wants the rematch, too.
"No problem," he said. "I'll be ready for the rematch."

as in earlier post i had 100 on @9/2 bradley. i watched 9 rounds, then turned my lap top off and went to sleep. i have just woke up and can't believe my luck. the commentry seemed very bias towards pacman tho, but the judges must fell bradley outworked pac.

I watched it at a house party and a lad stumbled over the sky lead, damaging the box and we missed the last 4 rounds. You can imagine the drunken confusion and at first jubilation to see Bradley with the belt when we finally got it back on. Sad it seems to have come via a Vince Mcmahon screwjob. Will be watching again tomorrow morning, i did feel the it was competitive and Bradley fought well early doors. Looking forward to scoring it sober tomorrow.
