This should be a good pointer as to where Kell Brook is at....

Can he stop Hatton, or get a unanmous decision??

This will be the fight that will show us if he can stand upto Saul Alvarez, roll on March 17th!

One day Kell Brook will get in with a live opponent. Saul Alvarez is a weight up and would crush him like a juggernaunt running over a baked bean can

Personally think Brook is the real deal.  Will be interesting to see how he progresses.

I used to think that. Then he is at the same level he was when blitzing McIntyre 3 years ago he ashnt moved on at all. His appaling footwork means he can only land 1-2 shots at a time and is a sucker for the right hand back over his jab

To me seems more a case of a fighter who picks his shots really well rather than only being able to land 1-2 due to the footwork.  Obviously it's hard to judge at the moment due to the lack of class on the CV, but I reckon he has the tools to be a force at world level.  The fact that he is careful/precise in throwing his shots will serve him well long term imo - less likely to get caught off balance and therefore less open to a big shot.  Hopefully Hatton is a stepping stone to the fights we want to see within the division - maybe take on the winner of berto/ortiz afterwards.  Only then will we really know what the kid is made of.  Same applies for canelo with regards to taking on the bigger fights soon.

promoters missed a trick here - Masters catchweight contest Ricky Hatton vs Naseem Hamed on undercard would go down a treat.

Hatton massive at 8.6. We know how good Hatton is and he is below world level and Brook has the potential to be far better than Hatton but really based on their records so far there isn't as much between them as the prices would indicate.

Wouldn't be so sure! Hatton rarely gets ko'd. Brook will slow down and Hatton should come back into it (i hope)

not sure stopping Brook's shots with his face is good long term strategy for Hatoon

Brook stops him whenever he feels the need IMO.

Are we watching Mayweather or Brook? 365 have Brook @ 1/1000.

I know he isn't looking upto much now but he can come back into this atleast.

Nothing racist, more about their fighting skills than anything.

But this fight is all but over now.

Done my conkers on laying Brook KO, TKO or DQ.
