Goliaths dam Gouache

At Goffs Sales in Ireland today the 12 year old dam of Goliath was led out unsold at 5m euros. IMO this was a poor decision on the part of the vendor. The mare is middle aged,  has not produced anything else of note to date, Goliath is not a superstar. and 5m euros overvalues the dam by any standards. I am a keen follower of breeding, and I am amazed the vendor did not take the money and run. Time will tell, of course
