Any Foals On The Ground...

Only in foal mare dropped last night.

Fecund filly producer managed her 7th filly from 8 foals...

only consolation is all the racing age offspring have made the racecourse.

Congrats Proxygene delighted for you , at least a healthy foal on the ground...Fillies are selling well nowadays...

finally had a nice filly by lope y fernandez last night. 10 days overdu but worth the wait

Now it would seem to be a struggle to get mares in foal, last 5 covers unsuccessful and maiden piddling about as well, and the only advert for the filly producer suffered a fatal racecourse injury...

Did anyone manage to get mares in foal last year?

Have another filly, and yet another one expected. The main filly producer came up empty though.

One foal on the ground, bay colt - how did that happen? A fraction under 11 mths and the mare is back in foal. Again, how did that happen?
Maiden scan tomorrow 15 days from 2nd cover.
Barrener covered for the 2nd time yesterday.

And after 4 goes and empty last year Stilly is looking like a first timer this year...

16Feb) And 8th filly out of 9 foals for Stilly, one of her daughters due shortly. Other mare broke a leg boxed overnight in December...

Proxy I can’t let you moan alone!
My maiden last year had 4 covers and didn’t get in foal but I congratulated myself in getting her rehomed to a non racing job. Then 2 months later she dropped dead in the field
Lest  anyone see a headline sales price or a big win think that there is anything easy about this game….
I have managed one foal so far and he is at least a colt.
