Just scanning the Longchamp results from yesterday and when I reached the last race, I saw that Harper was bred by David Deer from his good stallion, Al Kazeem out of one of his own mares, Fuschia by Averti. Harper was sold for just 800gns as a foal but 26,000gns as a yearling to France. Not bad pinhooking. The French owners also had a bargain though as he won his first 2 races as a 2yo and has now won £126,000 in 3 seasons.
