Any advice to increase my general knowledge on breeding from a betting angle?

From a betting angle you should look at one of the horseracing stats sites that allow you breakdown sire performance across a number of variables and show profit/loss return on investment actual vs expected returns etc. They are all subscription based but for instance flatstats allow short term membership that might allow you uncover a few interesting betting angles...

If the horse was bought at a sales it is probably not much good.
I could give breeding advice but it would take time, and people want immediate results. |
