What does anyone make of Golden Horn's performance to date. Appreciate he did nt run himself as a 2yo until october, so was 'nt expecting fireworks early on, but one winner by mid august for a £50-60k stallion....

There are a lot of excuses made for stallions. Its unlikely you are going to get classic winners if you can't get high class 2yo's. The 1 mile races have just started for 2yo's so the next month or so will be more informative for GH as you would be expecting his best to be middle distance. Muhaarah on the other hand is definitely not pulling up any trees.

golden horn has only had 10 runners so far and 8 of them have been fillies, next few months will be informative, lot of good racing to come in the few months.

Tip of the hat to GH. G3 winner from only 10 runners - and there was me beginning to doubt....

Sea The Stars doesn’t get many 2yos - has he had a 2yo G1 winner? - but he’s already got a couple of Classic winners to his name, and a host of other high class Group winning older horses.  So I’m not inclined to write off GH just yet.
