Saxon Warrior winning the 2000 Guineas is of course a blinding result for 'The Lads'. Being by Deep Impact he's that potential stallion superstar with that outcross for all those Galileo/Danehill mares.
He looks like he will improve for a trip too, so The Derby looks at his mercy at this stage.
All they need now is one of those Scat Daddys to win the American Triple Crown and they've got the whole lot sewn up....(only joking)

Interesting letter in RP today from a learned breeding expert who isn't sure that a mile won't prove to be his best distance.
Brave call considering he's by Deep Impact out of a Galileo mare. Both proven stamina influences I'd have thought? |

there's nothing by Deep Impact entries for the 2019 Derby so seems like Coolmore's experiment has not been continued.

No, I think they've gone back with selected mares (Danehill/Galileo). Pretty sure it said so in the Bloodstock piece on the RP about Saxon Warrior.
