ROUBLES (Elite Racing Club) is engaged in the 3.20 at Doncaster on Friday 28th April.
Roubles (Trained by James Fanshawe) is a 3 yo filly by Top US Stallion SPEIGHTSTOWN out of the great racemare SOVIET SONG (5 x G1 winning miler)
She is the second and final foal out of the great mare, and hence a half sister to the colt SOVIET DREAM (by OASIS DREAM) who was unfortunately, not as tenth as good as either of his illustrious parents.
Of course, getting a win into this lady is of paramount importance given her pedigree. She is small but has strengthened up over the Winter and does have some ability.
It would be a lovely ending to a fantastic story if this filly was to win a race, and a great tribute to a wonderful and underrated racemare.
