Currently the yearling sales are arranged in such a way that the best yearlings are sold first and then the quality decreases as the sale continues.

The Foal sales on the other hand go the opposite way with the quality increasing as the sale goes on.

Does anyone know why this is the case?

If the Foal sales were switched around into the yearling sale format of best to worse do you think this would make the slightest difference to results?
