I too am perplexed by Champs Elysees and a little miffed as I have a nice young mare by him - who incidentally was a 7f/miler.
I get that he is getting mainly stayers and that is tricky but his profile of a useful stallion will probably still improve and he could have done a nice owner Breeder job if the fireworks didn't come.
Fact is, they've taken the money and from Juddmonte that leaves a slightly bad taste.

And yes yer ma timing stinks too.

Another a little like Mount Nelson, a proven sire of decent horses but not quite what the market wants. It seems a little pointless selling him, surly they don't need the money and he must be paying for himself. Maybe they are looking to be an elite stallion station and not bothered with the rest. I'm sure your filly will go well for you PotM.

We are looking a bit thin on the ground over here at the minute, let's hope 1 or 2 come out of the woodwork over the next month or so.
