I think that she was certainly correct that we condemn perfectly good stallions to an early export because they are judged too soon by the market, and that sire-lines become madly fashionable irrespective of dam-line or conformation. She did make it clear that her position as a wealthy owner-breeder was a privileged one which gave her the freedom to use unfashionable stallions to produce racehorses rather than sales horses. To some extent, Truehoncho, you have expounded similar attitudes at a lower budget. What I do wish is that she would buy a British stud and stand some of their excellent stallions here, on a rotation with France and Ireland.
