why did this fella only get 33 mares last year? am I missing something? coach house had 100+

Leger appeals, photo finishes, who's hot who's not. I know Kuroshio and Coach house were both sprinters and both standing at the same fee but actually do you not think that they had more differences than similarities? I am not sure I have ever got down to an either or situation when it comes to stallion choices but I do however think that I might have been better off with a pin on several occasions  Different race records, soundness, temperament, looks, sires, venues, owners and of course nationalities. I was with the 100+ on this one but if you've gone down the 33 route I'm not stupid enough to call you wrong - it's a berth I occupy all too often myself! |

I didn't use him this year. I nearly did but went for Heeraat instead. I was going to use him next year in his second season but I won't now. It just seems such a low number for a son of E&E that won 2 group races as a 2yo that I thought there must be something I'm not seeing. Anyway lets hope there are a few cheap 1st seasoner's as I have 4 to get covered this year and not much money to do it with. |

Think he missed most of the catalogues etc as he was a late drafted recruit, can't have helped, looked a bit jaded on arrival too?
