The 3 2yo winners by Zoffany are the breeding story of the meeting but I had to add 3 names to my database today for sires getting their first GB win. Who would have predicted Youmzain as a Royal Ascot 2yo winning sire? The other two were Dick Turpin and Purim who I confess I had never heard of before today.

one of the great results at the meeting was champs elysee first group 1 winner from its first crop. agree zoffany winners was a good breeding story, will need to take a closer look at that stallion sooner or later.
