I have missed the old days when you could make  aliving from backing Aga Khan 3yo's. I remember a season when his 3yo's trained by Fulke Johnson Houghton had a 40% win rate for a whole flat season-and he had a lot back then. I still back all of his 3yo's but there are very few running in UK now. Siyouni has few runners here but he is by Pivotal.

I was searching the Aga Khan the other day and one result was pertaining to his new Yacht, Alamshar. Now I'm always attracted to a nice boat so I idly flicked through and it transpires that there are sites that tell you where a super yacht is moored at any one time and it turns out that last night Alamshar was in Portsmouth docks so I wondered if my interpretation was correct and whether he would be at Ascot.
Do we think that he commutes to Portsmouth during Ascot week daily and more to the point is he concerning himself with my daily Ascot commute, and for those of you wondering what it is, that of a rush inside from a morning on the tractor to a place on my old sofa in front of the box?
Sure to be. . .
Yes it's very different these days with his runners all in France Sage and I reckon he might be due to hoover up another outside operation,s bloodstock again to ginger things up a little.
He needs to cut out the divorce settlements really to do that though, or tap his Religious followers for a bit mor cash perhaps.

A wonderful example of how to breed racehorses though Pot, regardless of his wealth, Yachts etc. He mentioned Siyouni in his interview yesterday and will no doubt be raising his stud fee. If I had known he was at Ascot (he rarely comes these days since falling out with the Jockey Club/BHA) I would have doubled my bet. I don't have to run indoors from a tractor these days but know what you mean.

The Aga Khan seldom produces top class 2yo's but Tanaza looked pretty good at Leopardstown this evening. 6/1 for the Oaks is a joke though.

Very dedicated and a useful source of information. I wonder if he also follows the AK horses that are sold for jumping or to other flat trainers. I have a careful look at any AK horse running at Cheltenham-particularly the 4yos.
