Just came across this website and wondered if anyone would ever use such a site to purchase a potential broodmare?
To my mind, any ex racehorse showing a hint of ability and with broodmare potential would be passed on privately by the trainer to exisiting owners, thoughts? Looking through current and past lots there would appear to be plenty of business being conducted and plenty of horses selling.
I suppose if the price is right...

Some trainers wouldnt be able to pass on broodmares at a guess. They probably wouldnt sell many inside the yard at all. So a site like this at least alerts people to horses.
Fair Value was a speedy sort and one that must interest someone. I had a feeling she might be a touch old and really Ive too many irons in too many fires to think about another. |
