For the stats / breeding angle punters out there.  Take note of this sire for a while - blind following any runner over a mile and particularly over 10f could be pretty profitable.  Could punch above his entirely uncommercial weight this year.

Any news yer ma?

Nice foals, particularly first season. Stallions dying a death. Swimmers not swimming. General gossip, scurrilous or otherwise.

I'm Stuck here knowing nowt, as ever.

If I may have my 2 pence...

Ive heard that poor old BBounty has been struggling a bit. I hope that's not the case but wouldn't be surprised, he never looked like one to make old bones on the few times I've seen him.

Got the word from a couple of people I respect that they've seen a nice Swiss Spirit foal or two. A friend of mine has a nice Eppaulette which I saw a couple of weeks ago.

No word on any new stallions struggling which is a nice change. Or perhaps I'm not "in the circle"!

Only fillies and nothing at 28 days yet..enough said. Trying to stop my prize yearling colt growing too quickly.  Not had any titbits of note, sorry.  Coolmore offering some great bargains to keep the numbers up.  Dansili is the new sire of sires...we'll see.

Thank you Wily, and indeed I shall throw the topic open to anyone who has a tickler or two!

I have just been doing 'due diligence' on Bahamian Bounty having still one mare to decide upon. Not a fan of the old or one testicled your post might have nailed the lid down Wily!

I suspect there are plenty of nice Swiss Spirits around, I was at Whitsbury this week and surprisingly that's the tale I heard!
However I didn't get chance to have a nose and I got the impression that it wasn't impossible to get a lesser one but I think overall, good is the likelihood.

I have just managed a filly yer ma so you are not alone, and mine has rubbed salt in by being a midget! First foal though so maybe growth is possible.
