Still digesting but there are 101 foals by Bated Breath, Delegator and Foxwedge alone.  I've nothing against these stallions but that would be a little alarming to me if selling.  41 BB's!  Thats more than Power, Dragon Pulse, Sir Prancelot and Elzaam put together.

what could be the reason for the 50+ foals of harbour watch?

Fast commercial first season stallions are routinely exploited by breeders who specialise in the foal market Roy jones.

No need to read anything sinister into it, although time will tell how they are being liked, but it is a large number if you were a breeder looking to have something a bit different!

Hadnt noticed that yet PotM.  I know two Harbour Watch fillies and they will sell very well.  Can't see that being the case for all 50 though.  I think that number indicates breeders want out asap and that is partly because they see the other stallion from the stud has fallen in a hole.  Different stallions entirely though.

Stabling as expected, lots are not what I asked for but not bad.  I would say this, but ours are better specimens than their slots but usually the markets finds you.  Home to the kids before it really takes off!  Its a modest foal from a fancy stallion in a too good slot I think suffers.  Hope you are sorted.

Having  been doing it a while I did manage to sneak onto the Friday one year, with an over covered mare, yer ma.

Don't much see the point in being up against the Galileos et al though any more, so have never tried since. I think that as you say, they'll find you in the lower reaches if your foal stacks up, but the converse is a much riskier battleground.

Got my requested stabling which is a rarity so I'm delighted about that. Wish I was certain my foals were nailed on as if they are it's the sort of year when you can get a few bills paid isn't it!

Yes perry, that strikes me as a suitable amount. I wonder if there might have been a few more if the Sire of Sire had been flying?
