Frankel First Foals-Another Filly

They said the same about Dancing Brave.....the shortage of colts was a factor in the decision to sell Dancing Brave in 1991 to Japan.Two years later mind they regretted his sale.

Let us hope that Frankel doesn't hit Japan at the same speed as Empire Maker either!

Not all bad news though surely. A 75 rated winning filly by Frankel will be worth a lot more than a 75 rated colt. I realize that breeders are aiming much higher than that but salvage value is a factor and the majority of them will end up around 75-80.

Swiss Lake (dam of Swiss Spirit/Swiss Diva/Swiss Dream) has had a bay colt by him.

Might Swiss Lake's colt by Frankel be sold at auction, or do Lordship stud race all their stock? He would almost certainly be the fastest bred Frankel foal.

Got to be called Swiss Franc surely...
