Rathbarry have gotten in on the clamour for sons of Monsun by securing the sevices of Shirocco as a national hunt stallion to stand at Glenview.
Presumably as he stood at 7000GBP last year he will be at the higher end of the NH scale fee-wise, is he a good bet or is he a bit dependent on his daughter
Annie Power and the current confidence in the Monsuns ?

Has to be a good thing to see him in Ireland and avaialble to breeders. many stallions never have an Annie Power and he has one already.

Dreadful flat sire...useless on AW aswell and lets hope he has a future for NH but he was a complete failure on the flat.  One swallow doesnt make a spring and i wouldnt ever judge a stallion on the female stock that they get.

Look at Motivator - Authorized - Azamour...  all G1 wins female division...

considering they hand out G1 to 100 rated fillys in europe there is just no point getting excited by a stallion if the only progeny stars are female.

think he's a good prospect - some notable Irish trainers love his stock - progeny need time and get stamina, so ideal for NH. he's also a full 16.2h which helps.
