Oasis Dream is still on target to set a new record for number of wins in a calendar year in GB, although amazingly, the dominance of Galileo in Ireland means he is still ahead when Irish racing is included. He does not even get into the top 10 in GB.
I have also looked at a few sires that have already exceeded their 2012 total (excluding second season sires ) Byron 41 up to 67 (perhaps the biggest surprise of the year) Dalakhani 33 to 36 Dansili 75 to 87 (although he has been higher in the past) Dark Angel 62 to 66 Footstepsinthesand 34 to 44 High Chaparrel 30 to 33 Ifraaj 46 to 51 Kodiak 32 to 53 Medicean 49 to 52 Oratorio 53 to 56 Pastoral Pursuits 46 to 51 Sleeping Indian 37 to 41 Street Cry 36 to 50 Verglas 47 to 49
Oasis Dream rubs it in by getting both of the sales race winners at Newmarket yesterday plus the third in the fillies race for good measure. His yearlings are going to make some fancy prices in the sales this month.

looked like the winner after the first furlong, has cleaned up in those big prize money races. wedding ring is in my top 10 for oasis dream progeny. must be very happy owners of that horse. good to see lots of improving sires for next season, toormore is my bet for next season guineas, more hopefull then confident.
