Well the pedigree of the 2.5million dollar one today certainly looks like that of a 15k mating.
My oh my was that a smart looking horse methinks. I've got 3 or 4 - I forget exactly how many- floating around in the garden jmc. I shall take your advice and look them out! |

If you have any Tapits there PM dig them out aswell :P
Coolmore's 4 War Fronts grossed $4,650,000 and Shadwells 4 $2,375,000 everyone else trying to getting in on the act aswell the lwoest sold for 100k, summed up nicely by the seller (agent) Peter O'Callaghan “When you have Coolmore and the Arab outfits eager to buy your horse, anything is possible" |

That was a cracking piece of pinhooking too - O'Callaghan bought the colt for $180,000 last November (and that's not cheap), so to get $2.5 million is quite a feat.

there is no logic in spending > than 1m at the sales. go thru the record of 1M + sales prices in last 30 years and teh return is very poor indeed.

Just looking through the 1-8 session figures some incredible returns on a 15k investment.
Some nice bred HTN's going on extremely cheap aswell, I know looking at a little video is impossible to judge but some nice looking specimens who just didnt seem to appeal to American Dirt heads |
