23 runners total in the Oaks and Derby combined...12 of them by Galileo or a son of Galileo, plus another out of a Galileo mare.

If you've got a half-decent mare or filly free of Galileo blood, hang onto her - she's becoming a dying breed!

Jezebel, I think there will be plenty of stallions for a nice Galileo filly as well. We seem to be going through a good time for stallions at the minute.

The line that could soon be hard to find is Sharpen Up. When Selkirk and Halling are finished, there is nothing to replace them.

Five out of the six places filled by sons/daughters of Galileo and New Approach.  Only the length of The Lark's head stopped it from being a clean sweep.  Phenomenal line.

I loved Selkirk but there's no doubt his daughters are better than his colts, just like Sharpen Up's previous top-class son Kris.
