COOLMORE.COM

(24th April 2013)

Coolmore has announced the service fees for the upcoming breeding season. New for 2013 is Excelebration, a triple-Gr.1 winning miler and the best son of Exceed And Excel. With a Timeform rating of 133, he is the highest rated sprinter/miler ever from the Danehill line and looks exceptional value at a fee of $27,500.

Coolmore’s Tom Magnier said ‘Excelebration is a very exciting prospect and we’ve been inundated with enquiries about him since we announced that he was coming. Fastnet Rock is a phenomenon – undoubtedly the best sire in Australia since Danehill with 13 individual stakes winners in Australia this season and a yearling average at the Inglis Easter Sale just shy of $600,000 – while High Chaparral, Choisir and Encosta de Lago are also amongst the best proven sires in this part of the world.’

All fees are listed inclusive of GST.

Choisir: $27,500

Duke of Marmalade: $16,500

Encosta De Lago: $55,000

Excelebration: $27,500

Fastnet Rock: $275,000

Haradasun: $8,800

Henrythenavigator: $13,750

High Chaparral: $77,000

So You Think: $66,000

Spinning World: $5,500

Uncle Mo: $16,500

Zoffany: $8,800

My knowledge of Australian racing is very mediocre at best, take it Henrythenavigator hasn't lit up the world down there? Encosta would be appealing at 55 AUD

Henry is 13th on the first crop list with 2 winners from 11 starters and $82.4k in prizemoney. Two first crop sires have over a million in prizemoney.

He is 70th overall on the 2yo list. Exceed And Excell heads this list with $5.1 Million.

Sent a couple of mares to Zoffany this year......very reasonable imo......can't stand the sight of Excelebration tbh....was over at Coolmore the other day, watched him cover a mare....

poor bugger looked absolutely b0lloxed....took him 20 minutes to get the job done.

So You Think....66kk....Scared...couldn't give him away at 17k here.

High Chaperral..77k....WTF.

The odd thing, JR, is tha HC has been a big hit down here siring a number of standouts. If you compare his results with those of Galileo, who shuttled for a couple of seasons to NZ, he stackes up very well.

That's why they can charge 77k and he will get a full book.
