Of the five classics, only three are open to both colts and fillies.
The 1000 gns and Oaks being restricted to fillies only.
So being fair to both sexes, the  triple Crown consists of the three classics that Nijinsky won in 1970.
OR;
1985 Oh So Sharp Won the Fillies Triple Crown and Affirmed was the last horse to Win the American Triple Crown.
So is it incorrect to say that "Steve Cauthen was the last Winning jockey of the English and American Triple Crown races"?.
Your Opinions Please?.
