red clubs is turning out to a real loss isn't he. Are any of these going to make it to the big time?

Authorised looks promising.
|
|
By:
Blimey if Authorized is promising then Sir Percy having covered abouut 1/3 of the mares is the next Northern Dancer sage!
I don't think the big time beckons for any of them but a few have a servicable career ahead of them. |

happy new year to you PotM. I tend to agree with you, it wasn't the best of years.

The prolific ones have been prolific but the classier ones have lacked err.... class.

Thankyou truehonch, and indeed where are my manners, Happy New Year to all Betfairians!
I think that proxygene has been quite succinct and I suppose that Dark Angel and Dutch Art need to be given chances with their better mares but I rather suspect they will become our next generation of Hardy Annuals A la R App, B B., Verglas etc etc. We just need their fees to come down to the right level again accordingly. But hey, we seem to be waiting a while for Acclamation to do that. . . . |

I agree that Sir Percy is also showing some promise as well but will he get the mares? My reason for mentioning Authorised is that most of his progeny seem quite slow to get to the racecourse and should improve a lot in time (my opinion of course)
|
|
By:
Well going forward it is Ser Percy getting the mares and Authorized in trouble Sage so I suppose they've had a reversal really.
One has to take advantage and one has to dramatically improve with what they've had to play with up to now. I am pretty confident that one has had it, as for the other, I am not too sure. |
|
By:
That is where you have the advantage over me Potm. I have no idea what is in the pipeline, I just record the wins in the present.
|

By:
Very impressed by Ravens Pass, with what came only be described as one of the wettest summers 2012, I will be very confident that his progeny prove his potential when we get proper summer ground. Watch this space.

By:
watering policies mean we never get proper Summer ground,
|
|
By:
Don't believe that the going won't be good/firm anywhere in summer unless its of a natural cause.
