I understand the transformation would be unorthodox, as a trained polo ponies are usually  5 and above. However  I was wondering if any one knows of any such successful stories? Or of any  experience breading from Thorough Bread Polo ponies for the race track.

Always remember Timeform Jim's description of Arazi as "...having the dexterity of a polo pony..." Grin

I think a few go the other way.
A horse called Eternally who won a seller at Southwell 7 or 8 years ago was retrained as a polo pony.

Alot of polo ponies go from racing to polo. But I was wondering if any one had one go the other way?
