Just watching Attheraces and their "Highclere stud feature". Does it make anyone else feel sick or is it just me? If you only ever read about breeding from Racing Post pull-outs or watched racing channel features, you would think that its the only stud in the country!

Still hav'nt worked out who their new stallion for next year is, anyone heard the rumours?

A friend of mine taught many years ago that most journalists are intrinsically lazy.

If you have one eye on self promotion and are prepared to construct an article/presentation for them, then they usually are quite happy to run with it. And lo, they don't say anything unpleasant about you either.

It's a win win situation - unless ofcourse you are the poor consumer like you and me Wily, who as you say have to digest the same old tripe again and again. It used to be Ted Voute ofcourse. . .
