Cape Cross and Kyllachy now joint top on 60 after wins last night but Exceed and Excel continues to dominate the 2yo division with Heavy Metal winning the Richmond and Top Boy not disgraced either.

With another winner tonight, Oasis Dream is setting a scorching pace. Now on 73, 14 in August-that is one every day this month so far. Cape Cross on 69 and Kyllachy on 68 are both in touch.

Galileo has a few high class offspring but there are also some big backward types, 3 of which won modest maidens today. All trained by Sir Michael Stoute. I can't see any of them developing into Group class 4yo's, more likely hurdlers in due course.
