Why have betfair not removed the "i breed budgies" thread?

I first found my way to bloodstock and breeding about 5 years ago when it was much less frequented than it is now and was rumoured to be being considered for the axe. The budgie thread annoyed the hell out of me but paradoxically it may have helped save the forum.

I suggest you reinstate the Budgie thread pronto - before you lose even more customers.

Just take a look at the first page from top to bottom on the B&B forum, Betfair.

The 100th (last thread) on here was last posted on on the 28th of May - some 4 months ago.

Do you really think it necessary to delete a thread that has been running for almost 5 years, which has brought a bit of fun to various Betfair customers over the years - and one with no abuse on it?

Why have you removed it?

We need to be told.

PS - you do realise that 'Clever Name' who started this thread was just another of the hundreds of names of the serial bannee poster 'Stretch Armstrong' don't you?

It was a totally harmless thread - and as mentioned before, brought a smile to many a forumite over the years.

I can see no reason whatsover where Betfair could justify it being removed.

Unless they have some particular unpleasant people working there (or TSG - or whatever the hell they're called) who infest the fora at times, just to be as unpleasant as they can be and would like nothing more than to deny forumites of a bit of levity that they 'simply don't get'.

blimey, some utter bad taste threads still on several forums on here yet this harmless if yes a little pathetic thread gets removed.

Well Done Betfair a new all time low.

I must admit,although I thought it was complete rubbish,it does look like a silly over-reaction to pull it. I`m sure it had been going well over 5 years btw. I remember it from around May 2007 and it wasn't new then.
