im newish when it come to breeding, i have a share in a 3yo 1/2 sis to gr1 and g2 winners, she is by an upwardly mobile stallion but she turns out in-front (correct through the knee)   5 to 1  from the fetlocks, she has some speed and we think she can win something, question is how likely is she to pass the fault on, any advice welcome thanks

Jonnyrotten,If you can take a look at her dam and any siblings she may have and research her family's sales history and runners to foals ratio as if they are disappointing and with  her page then assume there is a history of conformation faults.
You won't really know until she has any foals,if you give her a go try to select a stallion who is well known for getting overall correct stock.
My now retired mare toed in on the off fore from the fetlock but selecting stallions who were straight in front all her foals were correct none were like her,all raced and unbelievably all won!

I'm about to breed a maiden who is the worst I've ever had Johnnyrotten (think lot 14 but a bit stronger - I hope) so I'll let you know. I'm pleased to finally try the gamble, I suppose, as I'm usually very careful about such matters but as Prima always say's you've got to take a chance on something so I'm hoping my Urban Sea is about to get started!
