The following would be the lots that I would possibly be interested in as a perspective buyer of yearling colts (listed alphabetically by their sire): 57, 148, 193, 109, 124, 136, 138, 145, 146, 150, 97, 228, 127, 91, 154, 106, 112, 191, 108 and 81.
Theses are all lots that appeal on the page while still hopefully there to be bought for realistic money. I'm a Darsi fan and the emboldened lot is one that really interests me. There's plenty more lots that look good on the page also but are likely to go for big money.

I'd agree at the moment re the difficulty in shifting fillies, but at present we have a situation in NH with supply far outstripping the demand for all, bar the very top level, NH stock due in part to the supply still being at the level conceived in the good times ( as far as '08 & '09 anyway ), and obviously mares are feeling the brunt of this. It might be different in 2/3 years time as crop sizes have decreased dramatically, and between the amount of mares being scanned for the sex of foetus, and the number of fillies simply not being registered , the imbalance between sexes is massively in favour of colts, and natural wastage and ageing in the mare population should create a market ( provide the Euro hasn't gone tits up in the meantime ! ). So maybe there could be a bit of value to be got in buying a well-bred filly this year or next as a store,....... I wouldn't go filling a field with them though !

allduck: as far as I can see not a single Darsi has been issued with a hunters' cert as yet to qualify for 4yo maidens-maybe too early yet, assuming I am correct about the cert issue.
have you any idea where some of the first crop are being trained?

A friend of mine has one intraining RA. Not too far off a run either. Will probably be going down the bumper route though. Wouldn't say there too many to run this season but theres a good few stores in the ground by him for this years sales I think.
