No fee announced in today's Racing Post, but I can tell you that he'll stand at £1750 for 2012.

Well it's nice to see another one crawl out of the woodwork although I don't think he's for me.
When I saw him in at December I wondered if he might sneak a berth before then.
I remember seeing his full sister at St Leger sale make about 100k if memory serves. She was horrible and I wondered if some poor soul was really stitched up for that transaction.

Still I daresay prime Defender is nicer than that and as Prima Donna always said, there can be money in a cheapie - just a case of finding the right one!

Not a thread about Poets Voice - at anything near £5k hes got to be on a short-list, mine anyway.  I think they'll give him a fair amount of help and he's a looker

Do you not worry about 16.2 h, mostly leg, Yer Ma?

Or have I got him wrong?

Plan to have another look in a few weeks but I didnt think he was brutish or overly leggy.  Pivotals bigger and this particular mares pivotal is very nice, its pretty imprecise as you know.  And it'll go as a foal prob.

Thanks yer ma, I too will look at Dec. sales. There is so very little going to stud that I think if he is pitched right I can see him not staying on the shelf too long. I really have no idea where that pitch is likely to be though. Could they get greedy to the 8k mark? I don't think I've ever been less confident of my guess work!
