Do you know, my computer crashed this afternoon, for no apparent reason.
I know now why. It has been left a bit stymied, but I have been left positively bereft! I have tried to be discreet with my ideas of Prima Donna's identity on here, and off here I would never breath a word. I too think anonymity is very important and fully understand that a high profile contributor would have a lot too lose. Prima Donna's words above are particularly kind and I would like to state that I imagine myself the winner in our exchanges in terms of amusement and a much improved knowledge. I shall miss it hugely. So Prima, when you get itchy fingers, change your pseudonym and think again! Failing that, when you want to put me right after another disasterous Dec. sale (god I hope not ) I'm sure you'll be able to track down an email address and send me a b@llocking!Thanks, T. T. |

Without doubt this particular forum is the most interesting, educational and plain enjoyable there is on BetfaIR.For a considerable time I have enjoyed and learned much from the informative muses of PD,Pot M,and too many others to list.
Like everyone else I have tried to work out who PD is but I felt this was just part of the enjoyment of the B&B forum and have to say that the site will not be the same without his threads. Speaking personally I will greatly miss his threads but please the remainder of the contributors please continue to post your very readable informative threads as they are very educational/entertaining to people such as myself. |

Your refusal to comment on Moss Vale as a stallion narrowed it down a little !

BSB,
I did'nt want to be so obvious about that!! |

It will be a shame if this forum falls away. Outside of racecafe.co.nz and thoroughbredchampions.com, I am not aware of any other other decent bloodstock discussion forums.

Prima Donna....must add to the rest and will be sorry to see you depart this forum...there is few enough really decent contributers and you have strengh and depth in your knowledge of Bloodstock & Breeding.
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields .All the best.... |

What sad news, the forum will be a poorer place without you.
Thanks for all the advise over the years and I will make sure I mention you in my acceptance speech when I pick up my Thoroughbred Breeder of the year award for my future Baltic King and Dandy Man superstars. It was great to have the views of such a breeding colossus as yourself. I came into this game with zero knowledge and it's down to people like you that I've learn't so much and can now hold a half decent conversation with my parents in law about breeding without sounding too stupid. Good Luck. I will miss your opinions, musings and insight greatly. |

It was always entertaining and informative reading your input Prima, your contribution will be missed greatly, I know very little about breeding, but I feel I've definitely learned from you that it can pay to go against the grain. Good Luck.

Prima it's a shame you're not to post anymore,
I have been considering buying a broodmare With about 12 months and just reading your Posts have been fascinating for a novice like Myself, thanks for all the info. |

As someone who enjoys horseracing with only a laymans knowledge of the breeding side I have thoroughly enjoyed following your verbal jousts with PotM
I wish you health, wealth and happiness for the future. Good Luck |

I'll add my name to the list of Prima Donna fans. I've had a few run-ins with PD on the occasions when he ventures into the murky waters of chit-chat but have never engaged him on this forum as I'd be totally out of my depth. I've found him interesting, helpful, even amusing on occasions - all this while being right at all times, of course! Would be genuinely missed.

PD will be missed, but there's an irony here as he/she gave away his/her own identity on the Monsieur Bond thread.
Come back under a nom de plume PD! |

Really sorry to read you are leaving here - as so many others have mentionned you were always someone whose comments I rated highly.
However I do appreicate your situation ( I am none the wiser as to your identity!) having myself suffered from the wrong kind of exposure on racing forums when my identity was known (all my doing but some extremely unpleasant people out there did their best to do alot of damage to my business). I wish you all the best and echo PM in that you will one day return under a new name! |
