I am baffled they would cover this mare with the latter 2.

Encosta De Lago was champion sire the time he covered and they didnt do to bad with Fu Peg that foal sold for 1.2million she runs this week. The Galileo Rockstardom is now a gelding

1.2 Million for a Fug Peg...it must have wings or either someone has too much cash to spend.
Isn't it just likely that this mare will produce pure squat like all those other great mares who have failed to produce anything of note at stud. I guess their must be some reason they are all going to Coolmore sire's and not something like Redoute's Choice? |

She visited Lonhro and one of the Vinery sires afaik but I could be wrong. The Aussies are like the Americans and have plenty of info up about their equine stars on the web so a bit of Googling and you'll get answers :)

She had a colt last month by Lonhro.
Her first foal, by Galileo, called Rockstardom has raced a few times, without doing much. I would have thought, High Chaparral, would have been a better match, than SSB. |

The FP filly raced today, at Geelong, finishing last in a 13 horse field.
Her connections will be hoping she improves, as the races get longer. |

Rockstardom, resumed today as a gelding, and won his 8f maiden, by a nose.
He raced like he needed three miles. |
