Yes,he will indeed make a nice commercial prospect and as you say truehoncho very fashionably bred and very good looking too,he's one I've had my eye on for a while.
Will be very interesting to see how he gets on later this season and ultimately where he retires to and at what fee,as I reckon there will be plenty of studs wanting this son of Dubawi not to mention us breeders queuing up to use him.

hi PD

i think your right. dubawi's are nice types. have a look at the yealring photos on dbs preier yearling sales (cant remember the lot number but there's not many photos).

with my budget i hope he doesn't win much more!!

I will have a look, like you the mare I had in mind for him is one of the cheaper bunch so if he wins more she will be priced out............but then there are others who would be up his street if he wins a GR1!

is andrew tinkler into the breeding side of things, could be an ideal opportunity to establish a stud?

i have a feeling the way he ran today the autumn going might suit him and i can see him winning a better race. this being the case i think mr tinkler will get a very good offer for him, probably a better deal than setting up his own stud.

i think darley should have retired poets voice last year. His dams sire chief crown is not as desireable as green desert but he is related to some speedy types and fast 2 year olds. he will have to be very cheap next year especially if DG stands at a value price. however if he was cheap enough i would take a chance on him.

Yep, Poet's Voice mismanaged, extremely talented but very hard to get right I'd say, brilliant speed at 2 and they had the perfect photo with Frankie anticipating the line and celebrating in the QE2 last year with a Coolmore star on his inside, an oppertunity missed.

i like him too ,lovely looking horse.similar pedigree to makfi -ie green desert dam but could stand at a price thats easier on the pocket and do a very good job.
