Thanks for that its just that he had a 3yo coming up at Ascot next week and I was just wondering if there was any comments on his progeny etc!!

Some of us minnows need as much help as possible when thinking of prospective purcheses/or not

Midas7, Ad Valorem was for a while in the highly unusual position of standing at Coolmore in Ireland and at Darley in Australia, due to Darley's purchase of Woodlands Stud, who had equity in the horse and shuttled there from Coolmore. Ad valorem no longer travels up to Ireland and he's no great loss, look at his record on the racing post.

Personally I always disliked him because of that rotten Queen Anne that he brutalised his way to victory in and the stewards let him keep. But that was five years ago now so I should get over it

Thanks for the update on this fellow,as you say highly unusual situation for Darley/Coolmore, (strange bedfellows), I had checked the RP for his stats etc,nothing overly exciting,cheers
