good enough race and workforce is a derby and a good arc winner so syt did the business.now as a stallion i dont know yes or no.will he stand in northern hemp and at what price? dearer than his sire or less.

Despite his pedigree that screams stamina, his run style suggests that 10 furlongs is his limit. That should be a plus as a sire as he has the stamina genes but the speed to win at shorter distances. Workforce is the opposite. Bred for 10 furlongs but patently short of the vital speed to win a Group 1 at 10 furlongs. Over 12 furlongs I would back Workforce every time but over 10, I didn't think that the result proved that SYT was world class.

So You Think hit the front about 2f out under a big weight,in soft,in The Melbourne Cup. He didn`t quite stay that far,but I would back him to get 14f and be pretty sure he will easily get 12.Of course, given his pedigree which as you say screams stamina, they will probably keep him to 10f for commercial reasons.
