Willbeme (Redcar 2.30) at 22/1 becomes the 50th UK flat winner for Kyllachy in 2011. Even a fan like me didn't back that one.

Kyllachy a bit quiet this week but Acclamation, Exceed and Excel, Oasis Dream (2), Cape Cross (3) and Pivotal have all produced Royal Ascot winners.

Acclamation getting loads of 2yo winners from that post champion first season sire crop and Lilbourne Lad looks smart, Aga Khan had a 2yo winner in France today by Acclamation (Lidaro), looks a stallion on the up

Sageform, which of us is having a senior moment?
Acclamation, a winner at Royal Ascot? ![]() |

Maybe sageform knows something about Hitchens in the Golden Jubilee tomorrow [;)]

My senior moment I'm afraid. A winner at Thirsk on Tuesday got stuck in my brain. Acclamation is still having a good season and is now second in my sire table.

sageform, you sound like you will know.
Are there any stats on Cape Cross hurdlers? |

Plenty if you are happy to include Irish racing-just look at Racing Post, Bloodstock, stallion book. He had 8 wins from 32 runners last season.

Just a few comparisons of second season sires that may be of interest. As usual figures are for UK flat winners in 2011 to date but in brackets are first season totals for all of 2010.
Ad Valorum 9 (6) Aussie Rules 13 (6) Diamond Green 6 (11) Holy Roamn Emperor 17 (20) Hurricane Run 14 (10) Iceman 22 (13) Ifraaj 20 (33) Kodiak 14 (26) Proclamation 8 (16) Sleeping Indian 11 (17) Iceman is therefore the leading second season sire numerically. |

Very satisfying outcome to the 4.55 at Salisbury today when Dead Cool by Kyllachy out of the lovely mare Dead Certain won cosily again. I know the connections and they have bred some nice horses from the mare. Salisbury is their local course and I look forward to her running there again soon.

Nice work re. 2nd season sire Sageform - not readily available. I had assumed I was just relying on my Virtual's looks (hes a monster) to sell but maybe his 3/4 bros not as bad as seemed. Strange profile mind - some need a trip and time, some (Fred Eng) very fast.
