Same ownership. Also with Oxx. Apparently good looking.

Interested to hear folks' thoughts on the breeding...

Has a Derby entry, although I'm sure many will want to wait to see the colt in action first, not least as STS was out of Cape Cross - a Green Desert Miler and BTS is out of Invincible Spirit - a Green Desert SPRINTER...

This colt is quite well bred Somerset. Is that what you needed to know? Laugh

I imagine that you are concerned with his chances of staying 1 1/2 miles.

If ever there was a wait and see, this is it. All of Urban Sea's winners have stayed well but have been by sires who can do stayers with no problem. Her Green Desert filly, Cherry Hinton probably didn't stay but the evidence isn't really good enough to be sure.

Invincible Spirit is the weak link in this mating - and there aren't many mares that would be in that category - and he certainly isn't a natural fit for 1 1/2 miles. However his best colt and stoutest top classer is from a Mr Prospector line mare from a stout family like the great mare herself. But will he 'dominate' Urban Sea genetically?
