Anyone used him or got a view on him?
Son of SW from Mr P line mare, Gp1 winner at 2/3/4 despite being with godolphin for some of that time
Not a great percentage of winners but one or two useful ones and thinking about using him for one of my nureyev line mares (4*4 inbred to special) as it seems a fair price at 5k before bargaining?
any thoughts

Very good runner,very poor sire if you intend to sell I'd say steer well clear,not at all commercial.

very honest summary. i have toyed with the idea using the positives above inc price but its a no go-er really isnt it

He is deeply tricky perry.
I would call him a poor sire, removing Prima's 'very' ! He's certainly raised his game with a few decent types in the last 12 months but I'd be very surprised if there is any way back commercially. Incidentally, the Special duplication is most frequently seen through Sadlers/Kingmambo obviously. There have been some spectacular successes on this cross but overall it is statistically a poor match - just sheer numbers have given it the few but notable successes. |
