Against the rules, which state there must be no candidate-supporting literature accompanying postal votes, the GMB printed a pic of Ed and a message from the union leader, Paul Kenny, to its 700,000 members:-
“I believe that Ed Miliband is the person best placed to deliver for GMB members. That is why GMB is asking you to put him as your top preference on the enclosed ballot paper.”
