Ultimate Big Brother: Day 3
Josie leaves...
SPOILER: This post contains highlights from Day 3 in the Ultimate Big Brother house. These will be shown on tonight’s show at 9pm on Channel4. We do avise you read no further if you prefer to watch the show.
Day 3

8.24 am
Most of the housemates are asleep. Chantelle and Preston are in the bathroom.
They are in the bathroom talking about New York. Chantelle then starts talking about her wedding dress and how she only recently got it cleaned.
10.20 am
In the garden Josie tells Preston that she ‘feels so ****ing trapped’. Preston tells her she needs to get some perspective on the situation
Coolio and Chantelle are in the bath together. Coolio asks her if she misses Preston and she says that it is weird in the house. Coolio tells her that she has the skills to get him back but Chantelle says “too much has gone on it’s not like that.”
In the garden Josie and Preston are talking about Chantelle.
“I’m really glad they’ve put us in here together,” he says, “it’s forcing us to hang out and I don’t think we’d ever have gotten round to it otherwise. I still love her.”
Some of the housemates are in the kitchen completing this weeks shopping list
It’s been 35 hours since John was set a secret mission by the tree of temptation, he must be nice to his fellow housemates until further notice. Big Brother is yet to reveal if he has passed his secret mission.
John gathers all the housemates in the kitchen to tell them that he is currently having a dispute with Big Brother and will not be talking to any of the other housemates or participating in any activities in the house.
10.45 am
Brian and Josie are in the bathroom talking about Josie being upset. Josie reveals that she feels ashamed to be feeling the way she does. Nadia enters the bathroom as Josie is leaving. Nadia asks, in a playful way, why Josie always leaves the room when Nadia enters. Josie replies by saying it is because she cannot be in the same room as someone so beautiful.
In the bedroom, Josie says if she could just speak to anyone from ‘her group’ of housemates than she would be ok.
11.55 am
At the carousel, Chantelle tells the housemates that when she won Celebrity Big Brother she was put into the German Big Brother straight away. However, she cried for two days and left because she wanted to be with Preston and her family. Josie says she is finding it really hard in the house.
Choking back tears and as the housemates comfort her Josie says “I just saw my mum, cousin, best friend, and John… I’m sorry guys but it’s just all a bit surreal.”
12.25 pm
Josie has come to the diary wanting to speak to her Auntie Kay. Big Brother asks her what she would say to her and Josie responds by saying “I don’t want to do this anymore. I just want to speak to someone I know, I won’t tell anyone.”
She says that she does not want to walk and disappoint her fans, herself and Big Brother and reiterates her desire to speak to someone she knows. Big Brother tells her that all the other housemates are all former housemates and understand how she is feeling. She responds by that “they’re not in a house with celebrities, I’m normal.”
1.32 pm
Big Brother has gathered the Housemates on the sofas. Earlier this week, John was set a mission by the Tree Of Temptation to be nice to his fellow housemates. If John fails to convince his housemate he is nice, he will be exempt from today’s nominations.
Big Brother asks the housemates to put up their hands if they think John is nice. All the housemates do and the John is asked to come to the diary room.
John, sitting in the chair holding his sign ‘Evict me please’, is told by Big Brother that as his fellow housemates consider him to be nice, he can be nominated. John responds by saying ‘Stalin could learn a few lessons from you lot’.
The housemates then being to nominate.
John nominates tactically to increase his chances of being evicted. He nominates Josie because she is favourite and Coolio because he is entertaining.
Preston nominates John as he is ‘clearly not happy here’ and Makosi for playing up to the cameras.
Nikki nominates Coolio for saying she looks like ‘a little girl’ and John because of the way he criticised the way she eats her beans on toast.
Makosi nominates Nadia because she criticised Makosi’s beliefs about Paul McKenna and John for telling her that there is no God.
Nick nominates John for not being a team player and Makosi because she speaks to people slowly.
Ulrika nominates John for ‘kicking his toys out of the pram’ and Nick because he seems uncomfortable in the house and that is making her feel uncomfortable.
Nadia nominates John because he ‘picks his nose and eats it’ and Coolio because he is ‘all gangster rap’ and sleep talks.
Brian nominates John because he finds it hard to talk to him and Coolio because he hasn’t had a chance to speak to him.
Chantelle nominates John because she hasn’t spoken to him much.
Whilst Chantelle is nominating, Big Brother informs her that Big Brother has a situation in the house.
In the living room Brian says ‘Josie’s gone!’ The housemates rush to the garden and see the fire exit door open.
Outside of the house, Josie is hugging John James saying “I just wanna stay with you John I don’t wanna go back in there. They’re all celebrities, I’m normal’. He tells her that she is stupid and kisses her on the lips.
Back in the house, Ulrika says “there’s no point doing the show without her. Maybe we should all leave one by one” and Brian grabs her and jokingly says “yes lets, you go first!”
4.29 pm
The housemates are gathered on the sofas and are informed by Big Brother that Josie will not be returning to the house. Ulrika starts crying and the other housemates gather around her for a big hug. Chantelle says that she really wanted to see John James and her family.
4.49 pm
Ulrika and Brian are packing Josie’s suitcase.
“You have to hope it’s worth all the drama,” says Brian. Ulrika replies “I hope he is happy (John James).”
Chantelle has been called to the diary room to resume her nominations.
Chantelle nominates Ulrika as she doesn’t believe Ulrika likes her.
Coolio nominates John as he is ‘not a team player’ and Nadia as he believe she is one of his biggest competitors in the house to win.
John is called back to the diary to nominate again as Josie has now left the house. He nominates Brian as everyone likes him and he is popular.
5.57 pm
In the bathroom The Tree speaks to Nick and tells him who is up for eviction and that Nick must write the names on bits of paper and hide them in the house. He says ‘don’t get caught this time….piss off’.
Nick leaves the bathroom and heads straight for the kitchen. He hides one piece of paper in a plant pot and one in a cupboard in the kitchen.
6.54 pm
Big Brother has brought ex-housemate Darren from Big Brother 1 into the diary room
In the diary room, Darren is informed that Nick has hidden two pieces of paper in the house and that he must find them.
Darren enters the house and introduces himself to the housemates, who speculate that he is going to stay as a housemate. Ulrika says “You’re very tall and handsome… and the place in my bed is free!” Nick, who is in the garden, starts laughing when he sees Darren. Darren then searches around the house with the housemates watching having no idea what he is doing.
Brian then works out what he might be looking for and exclaims “Nick Bateman what have you done?!”
Darren find the first note and shows Nick who responds by saying ‘o ha ha’. Darren then finds the second note hidden in the kitchen.
7.38 pm
Darren has gathered all the housemates in the kitchen to reveal what Nick wrote on the pieces of paper he found.
Big Brother informs the housemates that earlier in the day Nick had hidden pieces of paper with the names of the two housemates up for eviction. Darren reveals that Coolio is up for eviction. Coolio responds by saying he has to use more strategy when nominating. Ulrika says ‘or be nice’.
Darren reveals that the second person up for eviction is John.
9.37 pm
John has come to the diary room.
‘Delightful, out tomorrow’ are John’s first words to Big Brother. He then reveals to Big Brother that he put a big bet on himself to be the first person to leave the house.
Chantelle and Coolio are in the kitchen.
Chantelle tells Coolio that she does not want him to leave as he is funny. Coolio then reveals that he wants to win and has to improve his strategy if he is to do so.

His bet remark will be after lines have closed, or if not will be after almost everybody's voted.
yeah, the talk of the bet probably means Coolio is a goner which is a shame for the show.

He is such a fool for doing that. He has zero nous about the GBP and their love of Schadenfreude (delight in another's misfortune).

I wonder if this is all a big bluff by JMac. Perhaps he wants to win and he thinks his best/only chance is to convince the public that they are punishing him by keeping him in.
Was he really campaigning in RP, squares? What did he say - was he telling readers to evict him 1st and have a bet on it?

I think there was a piece in the RP before he went in saying he wanted to be first out as he had various race meetings he wanted to be at (esp Donny), was already gutted to have had to give a Lords ticket away, was going to annoy his fellow HMs to get plenty of noms, etc. There might have been talk about it on the Morning Line but I never watch it.
