Poor.[:o] Didn't play in the market, but where does it say in the rules the housemate with the highest percentage is actually the 9th person to leave? Should have stood imo.

Nice green book as well had JJ and Andrew for fairly large amounts everyone else nicely green That said it had to be void and I never complain about betfairs decisions they decide what they feel is fair. If people complain it will further reduce their willingness to bet on these markets and we will be left with nothing

I was green on Steve on Betfair 9th eviction market (having laid John James when he looked like walking) - voided, backed JJ with P.Power 'next evicted' at 6-4 - lost my money. The way this night has gone for me I can understand Betfair decision and think it's fair enough. Not too happy with P.Power but their wording is 'next eviction' so I guess I was a mug for not realising.

Betfair had in their rules saying void if the eviction doesn't follow normal procedure so that had to be voided.
The bookies all said just 9th eviction so the winner of the market was Steve, end of.
Disclaimer: I had no had a bet in the 9th eviction market at allso have no axe to grind.

It's covered in the rules, potless, "any change to the established eviction procedure or any ambiguity as to who is voted off, then Betfair reserves the right to void this market at its absolute discretion."
I didn't have a bet but would have been pissed off if Betfair settled Steve as 9th evictee with those rules. It's clearly a change to established procedure to have the person with the lowest % of the four evicted to go first simply because they wanted to keep viewers watching til the end with John James. Even Corin got a higher % than Sam so it's not like they had any pattern to the eviction other than keeping viewers watching.

Agree. As soon as they said there were going to be four evictions on one night, market should have been pulled. Already a change to established procedure right there.
Betfair have made the wrong decision here. I can see why they have voided but it wasn't the correct course of action. They really need to start changing the words in their market headings and rules.

Sounds like the slaves' charter. Nothing wrong with complaining, it's just helping BF improve.

^^^^ Wot Topper said. Complain and betfair wont bother with these markets.
Of course they will bother, it's money for them. Some of you are so timid and melodramatic.
