Shame Boy George was never a Contestant on BB he would probably be the most interesting Housemate ever (like him or lothe him). If another Channel picks BB up hopefully he'll be a housemate.
Report huskydog August 17, 2010 12:30 AM BST
Agreed Scampi, it is a disgrace, he'd have torn things up, big time
Report scampi August 17, 2010 12:40 AM BST
He was nearly a Housemate on the last Celeb BB but because of a legal wrangle he wasn't allowed- a great shame. Hopefully Channel 5 picks up the series.

Vague connection: my missus is best friends with Boy George's cousin.
Not sure that helps much, but she has said he is great to be around.
Report huskydog August 17, 2010 10:46 AM BST
Lucky cousin, can she introduce me and scampi to him?
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 10:49 AM BST
heheh Grin

BG or the cousin? - the cousin's a girl incidentally.

Not sure BG does Betfair. Silly

By the way Shrewdbury, are you from Shrewsbury? I lived there for 20 years
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 10:57 AM BST
No husky - I was just trying to be clever when I had to think up a new forum name! (not that clever I know)
Report huskydog August 17, 2010 11:02 AM BST
Perhaps you should move there, in order to give your forum name more rellevance, I hear they have good pubs there.Laugh
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:05 AM BST
Yep the missus will be pleased when I tell her we're moving to make my forum name better. Laugh
Report huskydog August 17, 2010 11:07 AM BST
Well, there are far worse places to live, I hope you and her will be very happy in Shrewsbury. Good luck to the both of you, hopefully when i'm next up there it'll co-incide with your house warming party.
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:09 AM BST
Have been there once - very nice I thought. Went to see my football team (Bradford) get beaten!

When I first joined the forum many, many years ago, for some reason I got abuse about my forum name.
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:15 AM BST
I've often wondered where your name comes from P!
Report huskydog August 17, 2010 11:17 AM BST
Do be honest Pakey, it can be confused with a certain slur on a certain ethnic group, first thing that springs to mind
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:19 AM BST
In the old days of Flutter.com there was a person on the forum IIRC called PAKI - wasn't you was it P?
Report PAKEY August 17, 2010 11:22 AM BST
Definitely not shrewd, my forum name infers to my surname, and rhymes with flakey or shaky.

I hope none of you nasty lot have been thinking anything else.
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:26 AM BST
Kind of guessed - used to wonder about that guy on flutter, lol
Report PAKEY August 17, 2010 11:31 AM BST
I'm surprised he got away with it shrewd.
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:41 AM BST
I'm sure he would have said he was referring to himself - it's a bit like it's ok to use the N word if you are referring to yourself?
Report shrewdbury August 17, 2010 11:50 AM BST
But yes, still surprised he was allowed, lol
Report huskydog August 17, 2010 11:51 AM BST
Good on him, nothing wrong with self-deprecation.
Report armagnac August 17, 2010 11:52 AM BST
i suppose voting for the BNP was just a coincidence then PAKEY ? [:x]
Report PAKEY August 17, 2010 1:25 PM BST
Not me army, always found the BNP types were the ones who used to be bullied or were not accepted by the normal members of society, so sought to seek what they thought was a person of lower standing that they could pick on.

A bit like the caste system in India
Report armagnac August 17, 2010 1:52 PM BST
i dont vote fullstop and im not racist i hate everyone Silly
