BBOL    looks very skewed down under at the moment, poor for Corin. Have people really bought all that crap?

That's fair. But they are still real people, more so than TIBB and BBOL
Report five leaves left August 14, 2010 10:07 AM BST
I agree GB.

The polls have been all over the place this year with reports of gamblers and FB groups rigging them.

John James and Josie have lost half their support on DS. To ignore that is just stupid imo

I could be totally wrong, but i've felt that DS always seem to be looking for a cult figure to play against the field, the likes of Kemal or Science.

Fair play if they got Rachel as I certainly didn't see that one coming.
Report five leaves left August 14, 2010 10:12 AM BST
As did twitter and what I'm finding on twitter is much more in line with DS than any other poll.

Kemal and Science were right cults.

Lol, Kemal made me[>o]

Have to love you and leave you, as I am now off to stand in the p1ss1ng rain while the youngest Pakelette jumps some fences at Hickstead, hopefully while still attached to her pony.
At least I can have a burger or three.Love

Have a good one guys

Noticed this a few times - the 'casuals' who appear around HL's and evictions seem keen to lump on Josie or lay Sam

Then during the day the prices reverse a bit
Report jack12321 August 14, 2010 12:02 PM BST
Jodie doing surprisingly badly, its only the impending exit of john James that's giving her much hope here. Sam looks good value at the odds.
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 12:09 PM BST
Golden ticket as suppressed her price, whereas in fact it's worthless. A few weeks ago she could have gone, but not now

No guarantee possum tackle goes, and that would split their vote

It doesn't surprise me jack.
She's bloody awful.

Pepper storming the polls with a 10%+ lead on all 3.

Is it time to get our flip flops on.
Report jack12321 August 14, 2010 12:46 PM BST
Odds are Just hesitant because of the risk of a double eviction, if he makes the final should be odds on imo. A week long vote to evict at this stage and only a single eviction is pretty odd.
Report five leaves left August 14, 2010 12:49 PM BST
Yep, but I'm sure they'd have said if it was a double or more.

They always have before.

I've emailed C4 to ask. Maybe if a few others do we'll get clarification on how many go.

HI George, i'm still convinced that the coverage this will get as the last ever big brother will make the casual viewer/voter's opinion more of an issue than usual, therefore the housemate' storyb and general character attributes will also mean a lot.
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 4:22 PM BST
Why does that make Josie more likely than Sam though?
Report PAKEY August 14, 2010 4:43 PM BST
The empathy from the woman voters who see somebody just like themselves
Those that see Steve as being a brave war hero
Sam as the kid who came in late while the rest had to serve their time
Corin cld do well as long as they don't play up her false claims
Andrew as the geeky virgin type
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 4:45 PM BST
Sam the hilarious and sympathetic kid who saved the show when everyone had had their fill of the rest...

The polls do lie, I've no doubt, but how much?

With a 50% margin of error Sam still looks like a winner at the moment. If JJ1 stays on Friday he could p1ss it

If not it could be very close
Report PAKEY August 14, 2010 4:48 PM BST
That may well be the view of many of the die hards George, I won't dispute that, but not the casuals/newbies who tune in the for the finals.
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 4:51 PM BST
Like fig always says, the casuals only tuning in for the final aren't big voters

Most of them have been watching the HL's off and on, so why do their views differ so much from the hardcore?
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 4:56 PM BST
Lay Sunderland army, yep

Though laying at 2-0 was the bet Plain
Report PAKEY August 14, 2010 4:59 PM BST
We have to look at this one as a special case George, it will receive it's media coverage as the last ever Big Brother, which should guarantee a much larger percentage of viewers compared to the regulars, as in recent years.
Many will be aware of Sam's antics and this he is funny, many will be aware and think he is an attention seeking, spoilt brat, and many will not know him at all, and will just hear that he is the kid who went in at the end.
Report PAKEY August 14, 2010 5:00 PM BST
as in recent years = than in recent years
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 5:01 PM BST
They'll hear the cheers though, for both him and Josie

Always been more ambivalent for JJ and Corin
Report GeorgeBrush August 14, 2010 5:02 PM BST
I wouldn't write her off but I think Corin will struggle now

Amazing how she has been tarred with this JJ brush
Report PAKEY August 14, 2010 5:09 PM BST
I thought that Sam had received a few unexpected boos, or as a minimum, a more mixed reaction than expected?
If that was repeated in the final, it would not help him with the newbies, while not effecting his current fans.

I'm not keen on Corin's chances, but just trying to give most a bit of a balanced opinion. (unlike usual [;)] )
