SAM: By Fruit Cake out of Hot Stuff
Free running colt who sometimes sweats up in the preliminaries. Plenty of scope, but temperament currently under suspicion.
CORIN: By Rovers Return out of Bottle
Mare of indeterminate age who was well presented in the sales ring. Popular with punters, but may find less for pressure than once seemed likely.
JOSIE: By Eat Your Face Off out of Romance
Strong brood mare who carries plenty of condition. Genuine sort, but who can race lazily. Needs rousting, but type to see the race out to the finish.
JOHN JAMES: By Where's My Dad? out of Convict Country
Attractive colt who looks to have a future at stud. Tempermental type who tends to find trouble in his races. Has a change of pace.
STEVE: By Squaddie out of Limbs.
Unlikely runner who has overcome a number of serious setbacks to line up. Has rarely showed much in his races to date. Definitely lacks a turn of foot.
DAVE: By Soon To Be De-Frocked out of The Love Of The Lord.
Substantial type that temds to race prominently. Not seriously fancied by punters and would need a miracle to carry off first prize.
ANDREW: By Nerdy Boy out of Academia.
Slightly built colt who tends to race alone. Looks to be well suited by hold-up tactics. Type to spring a surprise. Generally a credit to connections.
JJ: By What Am I For? out of Bit Of Fluff.
Late entrant who is seldom supported and has been deserted by punters. Shows a willing attitude, but appears to lack a touch of class.
Mario: By Polar out of Testosterone.
Moody gelding who is generally taken to post early. Sometimes promises plenty, but finds nothing off the bridle. One to treat with caution.
Jo: By Call Me a Cougar out of House.
Aged mare who ppears to be on her last legs. Failed to show her true form recently and expected to be sent to the sales ring shortly.

Thanks Guys.
Sorry it was late this year, but you know what it's like with us sensitive, artistic types - the muse has to be there.
Generally, when I start the Gravy Guide I have no idea what will come out (of course, I have a perceived view of the HMs) so I tend to chuckle when one of the jokes is okay because I haven't heard it before.
Steve was pretty obvious, but the 'turn of foot' line brought on a smile.
My favourite line (for what it's worth) is 'Mario: by Polar' because I suspect it's grounded in the truth.
Looking forward to the final two weeks.
Regards to All.

Very good Lg - bit generous to Jo though, I don't think the sales ring would be interested...
